Spanish Board Books
At MamaLingua, we’re constantly looking for materials parents can use to promote Spanish language acquisition, and this collection is at the top on our list!
I grew up speaking Spanish, but there’s a lot I don’t know – or simply don’t remember. When it came to describing animals during trips to our local zoo, it was difficult for me! I didn’t know the Spanish vocabulary for “claws,” “growl,” “climb,” “prey,” or “predator.” It was as if it were all new.
When I saw the “Si Yo Fuera..” (“If I Were...”) collection, I fell in love with it. Kids have fun imagining what it would be like to be a lion (or giraffe), learn fun facts, and practice all those words they need to describe their favorite animals.
On Amazon, I've been able to find two books from the collection. I hope to carry the whole collection soon and make them more readily available to our families. Until then, here are my affiliate links so you can get started learning about lions and giraffes – two favorite animals in my house!
