Favorite of the Week
*Great for beginners and young learners
These authentic Spanish board books from Kalandraka are wonderful for small hands. I have sold them at various Spanish immersion preschools and they are always a favorite!
The books are simple and fun, and the rhythmic writing and beautifully depicted illustrations make it easy for children to quickly learn key words and relate them to the pictures.
These books are standard in Spanish households – as Eric Carl’s books are here in the States. This series is a wonderful gift for a baby shower or as a starter kit for those embarking on a language learning journey with a child.
LIMÓN : This is a great book for singing and counting, understanding rhyme, and learning through repetition and images.
ZAPATO: This book uses poetry and images to depict everyday objects.
VEO VEO: A dialogue between two half-moons uses rhyme to describe the objects they encounter.
MIAU: Children can learn the different sounds animals make (in Spanish!) in this colorful book.
VIOLÍN: This title offers an introduction to musical instruments.
CINCO: Kids can learn to count to five through these beautiful illustrations.
COCODRILO: This book teaches colors using rhyme and song.
