Diario de una Lechuza: Una boda en el bosque

Rebecca Elliot

TRANSLATED

Age: 5-7

$4.49

The "Owl Diaries" chapter books are great for young girls (or boys) who are ready to move beyond picture books.

This was the first chapter book I picked up for my daughter. In fact, I didn't even know it was part of a collection until I looked on Amazon and found other titles.

All the books in this collection explore friendships and relationships. "Una boda en el bosque," "A Wedding in the Forest," follows Eva the owl and her schoolmates as they help their teacher prepare for her wedding day. My daughter was excited to get started, especially because the book integrates colorful pictures with text – and she's currently very interested in weddings, parties and getting dressed up!

We both enjoyed the book so much that we purchased our second from the collection. Eva y la nueva lechuza follows Eva as a new student joins Eva's class at school. It was an appropriate purchase for us, as my daughter will be one of the new friends this fall at her dual language school!
